VisionTrack Expands to US

VisionTrack, provider of cloud-based video telematics, expanded its international footprint with the launch of a new US business. The company aims to capitalize on growing demand in North America for advanced AI video telematics solutions. The idea is to replicate the success VisionTrack has achieved in the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe. VisionTrack Inc will be based in California, serving fleet operators and partners across the US.

“This is an exciting next step for us following record levels of growth in Europe during the first half of the year,” explains Simon Marsh, CEO of VisionTrack. “Our hardware agnostic approach—meaning we are not tied to any one device manufacturer—makes us unique within the video telematics space and well placed to rapidly expand our North American presence.”

Further, Marsh says the company commits to driving innovation, focusing on data science, artificial intelligence, and computer vision developments.

VISIONTRACK IN THE US

US fleets will now have access to a range of connected solutions from dashcams through to multi-channel MDVRs; all of which comes with optional AI technology from leading device manufacturers. With direct integration between these devices and IoT platform Autonomise.ai there is no need for any third-party APIs or middleware. This allows VisionTrack to cater to all types of vehicle, operation, and industries on a single cloud-based platform and API.

VisionTrack will take advantage of existing technology partnerships with a significant number of global telematics providers already integrated with Autonomise.ai. The company will also target strategic acquisitions within North America to accelerate growth and enhance its regional infrastructure.

Marsh says the company seeks US opportunities fit for VisionTrack’s growth and strategy. “Our parent company, Markerstudy, has recently received a £200 million investment, so we have a war chest available to fund future acquisitions,” Marsh continues. He says the company expects global turnover to increase by more than 100% in 2021. “We believe VisionTrack Inc will make a significant, positive contribution to our financial performance.”
