THE WORK TRUCK SHOW

Have you ever wondered where other fleet managers go to get the latest happenings in the work truck industry? I would bet that The Work Truck Show is at the top of the list. This annual show provides all those involved in the industry the opportunity to learn new technologies, see new vehicles and upfitting solutions, and network with experts and peers.

The largest work truck event in North America is right around the corner. Held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, The Work Truck Show is from March 6-9. Everyone from fleet managers and work truck end-users, to OEM executives will get together to share and learn what’s happening in the business, unveil new technologies or products, and network with the industry’s most influential thought leaders. The show is hosted by the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA)—the association for The Work Truck Industry—and held in conjunction with the Green Truck Summit, which offers insights into how the industry can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and pollutants, and the Fleet Technical Congress, where fleet managers can explore new technology and gain information from their field’s top leaders.

REGISTER ONLINE

The basic trade show exhibition hall badge is free to NTEA members who register before February 9th. That basic admission grants access to both the exhibit hall and the Ride-and-Drive events from March 7th to 9th. Other registration packages include access to educational sessions, lunch, president’s breakfast, and the opening reception on Tuesday, March 6th.

BE READY TO NETWORK

Along with being the premier event for companies within the commercial truck industry to introduce new products and technology, it’s also considered to be the best networking event throughout the industry. The show offers a dynamic, focused environment full of the newest products and industry-specific training courses where peers can interact to discover what’s available to them, gain market insight, solve their common technical problems, and create meaningful business relationships.

LEARN FROM THE BEST

The Work Truck Show also provides a venue for major industry leaders to announce new vehicles and hold press conferences about new products and services. This year, four major OEMs (Chevrolet, Ford, Hino, and International Truck) are scheduled to announce new commercial trucks at the show.

More than 480 other exhibitors will also present at The Work Truck Show. Among these are body manufacturers including Knapheide, Reading, and others, innovators in telematics, fleet management solutions, and supply chain solutions. This year The Work Truck Show features a “Productivity and Fuels Pavilion” designed specifically for exhibitors displaying clean technologies and fuel use reduction solutions.

In 2017, The Work Truck Show drew almost 12,000 individual work truck professionals, with all US states (including Puerto Rico) and 22 countries represented. The NTEA used the entire available space in the Indiana Convention Center, making it the largest event in the association’s history.
