LIMIT DEAD BATTERIES, BATTERY SERVICE CALLS, AND DOWNTIME WITH GO POWER!

Battery power is often essential for work truck operators to get their work done, but the load a truck battery takes on a daily basis can be quite extensive. One company, Go Power!, found the solar option to be the solution to many fleet power problems. Sean O’Connor, Go Power!’s fleet business development manager, shares how work truck fleets can benefit from Go Power!’s solution.

MWS: WHAT IS GO POWER! AND WHO BENEFITS FROM IT?

O’CONNOR:

Go Power! is an industry leader in solar and inverter solutions for liftgates, delivery trucks, HVAC and APU systems, heavy-duty trucking, and everything in between. Based in Victoria, BC, Canada, Go Power! creates innovative mobile power solutions for commercial work trucks that are designed to eliminate dead batteries and battery service calls, limiting downtime and increasing productivity.

MWS: GO POWER! PROVIDES ELECTRIC SOLUTIONS FOR FLEET TRUCKS AND TRANSPORT. WHY IS THE GO POWER! SOLUTION BENEFICIAL TO THIS INDUSTRY IN PARTICULAR?

O’CONNOR:

Solar offsets unnecessary idling and diesel costs. Adding solar to trucks can help companies and fleets of any size with their overhead, eliminating dead batteries and service calls.

Solar power is especially beneficial for companies making multiple stops and intermittent deliveries throughout the workday. Our simple, customizable power systems are easy to install and offer a great return on investment for fleets of all sizes.

MWS: WHAT MAKES GO POWER! A GREAT OPTION FOR THOSE LOOKING TO INTEGRATE SOLAR POWER INTO THEIR FLEET?

O’CONNOR:

We have been in the industry for a long time. Through that experience, we’ve had a hand in creating specialized solutions for fleets of all shapes and sizes. With truck fleet heavyweights beneath our belts, we have created a solar solution to solve most work truck woes on the road today.

MWS: HOW IS GO POWER! CONTINUALLY INNOVATING AND WORKING TOWARD PROVIDING THE BEST SOLAR SOLUTIONS FOR FLEETS?

O’CONNOR:

We have a team of engineers that work tirelessly to test, balance, and bespoke every solar solution we sell. Our solar kits help offset battery costs in fleets across North America. From a three-stop-per-week delivery truck in Florida to a daily delivery truck in Seattle, we’ve done it all.

Pairing that innovation with exceptional quality and customer service, your fleet’s solar power comes with peace of mind and industry-leading warranties.

MWS: WHAT’S ON THE HORIZON FOR GO POWER!?

O’CONNOR:

Delivery drivers are constantly battling dead batteries on liftgates and their pallet jacks. This year, we’re releasing our newest kit: The Dual Charging System (DCS).

This kit was engineered specifically for charging both liftgate and pallet jack batteries. This wall-mounted box automatically switches charging from pallet jacks to liftgates, depending on what is plugged in to the unit. The DCS can save time and reduce fuel costs by making deliveries more efficient.
