AN ELIGIBLE PARTNER

The all-new Hino COE 155 brings a lot to the table, but with quality, durability, and reliability as the DNA of Hino Trucks’ legendary owner loyalty, it’s no surprise. Specifically designed for the North American market, the Class 4 Hino 155 offers a product design providing performance and reliability in an ergonomically advanced package. Featuring wide pillars and groundbreaking aerodynamics on an all-steel cab, the 155 model sets new standards for comfort and driver safety.
Hino 155’s ergonomically designed interior makes for a versatile mobile workspace and includes two large overhead storage compartments in the cab, along with an additional storage compartment in front of the passenger seat. The 155 model’s Driver Information Display shows real-time fuel consumption, DPR, operation time, percent/current acceleration, and vehicle diagnostic information.

POWER UNDER THE HOOD

With a GVW of 14,500 lbs and GCVW of 20,500 lbs, the Hino 155 needs some power under the hood. With 100 years under its belt, Hino hit the mark with the 5-liter J05E Series engine. The 4-cylinder, 4-cycle in-line turbo diesel engine is water-cooled and uses dry cylinder liner for engine longevity. The common rail, direct injection provided by Denso offers on-demand fuel pressure, reduces exhaust and particulate emissions, and improves fuel efficiency. To top it off, Hino mated the J05E with Aisin’s 6-speed A465 O/D transmission with lock-up torque converter for an ideal partnership.
Putting out 210 hp at 2,500 rpm and 440 lb-ft of torque at 1,500 rpm, the J05E Series engine is made to work. Plus, the Hino 155 promises performance, long-term durability, and low cost operation without sacrificing economy. The combination of the J05E engine, optimized SCR, aerodynamics, and Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission allows the Hino 155 to deliver on fuel economy expectations.
