MODEL 567

Updates to the Model 567 include a cab-mounted side mirror, bright air intake bezel option, and increased DEF tank volume. On the inside, the Model 567 features the 15-inch Digital Display launched with the new Model 579. A fully customizable user interface (UI) delivers easy-to read information and full PTO integration. Operators can fine-tune the Digital Display to suit their preferences through the controls found on the all-new smart steering wheel. Additionally, fully customizable B and C-panels accommodate a wide variety of vocational needs. New driver comforts found inside include additional cabin storage, two permanent cup holders, and options for 12V or USB charging ports.

The Model 567 is available with the latest safety systems fully integrated into the Digital Display. Key technologies include lane keeping assist as well as adaptive cruise control with auto resume and speed sign recognition. It also includes side objection detection, safety direct integration, multi-lane emergency braking, and highway departure detection.

Finally, the Model 567, combined with the new 2021 PACCAR MX-13 and MX-11 engines and PACCAR transmission, sees a 2% improvement in fuel efficiency. The combination in the truck also delivers increased reliability and uptime.

The all-new, 7-inch Digital Display found in the center of the instrument cluster highlights the changes to the Model 520. The Digital Display includes conventional speedometer and tachometer as well as water and oil temperature gauges. Using an intuitive card system the display is able to relay information to the driver at a glance. Such information includes ADAS, PTO status, digital gauges, trip summary, drive summary, and systems check. Additionally, drivers navigate through the different cards using a knob located to the right of the steering column.

Lastly, the Model 520 added electronic stability control in September 2020 and is now available with Bendix Fusion®. Bendix Fusion features side objection detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control with auto resume, speed sign recognition, and safety direct integration.

“This is going to be a year of incredible innovation for Peterbilt and our customers,” says Jason Skoog, Peterbilt general manager and PACCAR vice president. “Our engineers are constantly improving our trucks to deliver increased performance, reliability, and safety.
