VMAC Wins Exporter of the Year and Manufactured Products Awards at the 2022 BC Export Awards

VMAC received awards at the 2022 BC Export Awards for its contribution to British Columbia’s economic growth. The company earned: Manufactured Products as well as the top award, BC Exporter of the Year.

The BC Export Awards recognizes achievements of British Columbia-based companies in eight different categories. The awards celebrate the companies’ products as well as services and innovations in demand worldwide. VMAC’s mobile air compressor solutions have gained a strong reputation in North America’s service truck industry and beyond. Further, the company has shipped to 38 countries over its 37 years in business.

The awards recognize VMAC’s local economic impact as well as its commitment to in-house manufacturing excellence. VMAC designs, manufactures, and assembles rotary screw air compressors and multi-power systems in Nanaimo, British Columbia, at its 44,000-sq-ft facility. The facility includes a foundry, machine shops, fabrication shop, and quality assurance lab as well as assembly.
