Visiontrack Inc Makes First US Acquisition to Drive Video Telematics Growth

VisionTrack completed the acquisition of SkyLab Solutions to accelerate its expansion into the US marketplace. The multi-million-pound deal for the California-based, fast-growing, fleet technology business represents the company’s first major investment in North America. It will support the roll-out of VisionTrack’s award-winning video telematics solution in the region.

The Skylab Solutions team will join the recently-formed VisionTrack Inc business. The company will support existing customers while focusing on capitalizing on VisionTrack’s relationships with telematics providers and target enterprise fleets. To achieve this, VisionTrack will introduce PTCRB- and FCC-approved, next-generation AI dashcams and MDVRs.

VisionTrack also plans to add extra channel business development, account management, technical support resource, and create a US-based DevOps teams. The company also intends to expand its office network and warehousing to create the infrastructure needed to drive targeted growth.
