RAM POWER

Ram and Cummins have complemented each other for years—and 2021 is no exception. Owners of a Ram 2500/3500 HD will experience a 6.7-L Cummins Tubro Diesel I-6. Tow easily with 370 hp at 2,800 rpm and 850 lb-ft of torque at 1,700 rpm. With this engine, the Ram 2500 can tow up to 19,680 lbs.

Need even more diesel power? Owners have the option to experience the 6.7-L Cummins High Output Turbo Diesel I-6. This engine offers 400 hp at 2,800 rpm and 1,000 lb-ft of torque at 1,356 rpm. When equipped with the high output engine, the Ram 3500 can tow up to 35,100 lbs.

For those who require a more affordable gas engine option, Ram offers its 6.4-L HEMI V8 engine, which offers 410 hp at 5,600 rpm. This engine enables Ram 3500 owners to carry a payload of up to 7,680 lbs.

FEEL THE COMFORT

Drive like a king in the Ram 2500/3500. Ram offers trims and features to suit all needs in its 2500/3500 trucks. From vinyl and cloth to leather and filigree stitching, a Ram 2500/3500 can accommodate any level of luxury desired. The truck’s reconfigurable center console is big enough to house mobile office supplies, including a 15-inch laptop. The console area also features a smartphone or tablet docking area with available wireless charging.

To transport a crew as well as equipment and tools, the 2500/3500 Mega Cab model offers 43 inches of rear-seat legroom and 8 inches of storage space behind the rear seat. And to top it all off, the 2500 truck features active noise cancellation giving operators a quiet and comfortable cabin experience and allows drivers to easily hear navigation directions and music.

Speaking of navigation and music, Ram is the only truck to offer a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It features a customizable, split-screen capable home screen. Operators can even pinch the screen to zoom in and out. The system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well as SiriusXM with Traffic Plus and Travel Link. SiriusXM Traffic Plus provides information on accidents, road closures, speed limits, and more. Travel Link provides weather information such as forecasts and severe storm alerts.

DRIVER SAFETY

Safety is a big deal in the trucking industry—no matter the size of the truck. To aid customers in driver protection, Ram gives its 2500 owners the option to enable its full suite of safety systems. This includes its adaptive forward lighting system, equipped with LED lamps that turn up to 15 degrees to help with nighttime visibility. Ram’s forward collision warning with active braking is also available in the truck as well as adaptive cruise control. The truck is also available with LaneSense and ParkSense, a lane keep assist and lane departure warning system and front and rear park assist.

Both the 2500 and the 3500 are available with 360-degree Surround View Camera with Trailer Reverse Guidance View that uses five cameras to view the truck’s surroundings.

DEPEND ON IT

There’s a reason you’re seeing more Ram trucks on the jobsite and in the streets. The truck’s dependability and capability (not to mention its bold look and luxurious features) are making waves in the industry. Will you be the next Ram loyalist?
