REPAIRABLE J560 CONNECTOR
Peterson Manufacturing Repairable J560 Connector, a new solution designed to address damaged seven-way connectors. Repairable J560 Connector is engineered to solve the issue of damaged connectors because of challenges of tractors pulling away from trailers without disconnecting, when trailers drop dollies and connectors drag along the pavement, or when equipment is damaged in yard operations. Fleets can replace only the damaged connector in less than a minute, without tools or cable loss. Technical benefits include serviceability, connector can be replaced on-site without specialized tools; sustainability, eliminates disposal of complete cable assemblies when only the connector is damaged; cost efficiency, reduces parts and labor costs associated with conventional repairs; and fleet validation, tested in real-world fleet environments prior to release.

ICESTRIKER 4500 SSA/SSC
Hilltip IceStriker 4500 SSA/SSC stainless-steel salt spreader offers a 4.5-cubic-yard capacity for use on trucks with a minimum rating of 15,000 GVWR. IceStriker 4500 comes with Hilltip’s HTrack tracking software, which uses two-way GPRS communication for remotely tracking and managing all software-installed spreaders. This technology allows customers to monitor driving routes, vehicle speed, GPS location and material usage in real-time from a computer, tablet or smartphone. IceStriker 4500 can be powered by either 12- or 24-volt dual motors. Model 4500 SSA comes with a six-inch stainless-steel auger, or customers can select the 4500 SSC, which uses a 14-inch pintle chain system to deliver material to the spinner. The hopper body is entirely submerged in an acid bath for clean welds and surfaces. Other standard features include a flip-up chute, vibrator, inverted V and vibrator. Options include LED work lights, strobe lights, brake lights and a tarp kit.

MAX – FRONT-END PROTECTION SYSTEM
Ex-Guard Max grille guard is designed for Class 6-8 trucks, and offers reinforced guard technology, enhanced steer tire protection, and is independently tested and validated to meet benchmark (UN ECE R93) for front underrun mitigation. Ex-Guard added a new eight-gauge high-tensile steel low bar to the design of the Max, called the VISR Bar. Reinforced with steel plate gusseting, it is built to withstand demanding head-on and angled impact scenarios. A front underrun mitigation system is designed to help prevent vehicles from sliding beneath a truck in certain collision scenarios. Steer Tire Defender 3 is available exclusively with Max. The Max is available for Freightliner, Kenworth, Volvo, Mack, Peterbilt, International, and Western Star. Max also offers ClearZone CMS compatible design, Ex-Guard Xero-G Lift Assist, eight-gauge high-tensile steel coated with three millimeters of EVRCoat PVC finish, LEVRLock dual latches, and license plate bracket.

829 HYDRAULIC CRANE
Summit Truck Bodies 829 Hydraulic Crane offers a 29-foot maximum horizontal reach, delivers a 48,000-foot-pound rating, and an 8,000-pound maximum lifting capacity, Summit’s highest-capacity crane in its 7 Series truck profile. The crane weighs 30 percent less than previous models while providing 37.5 percent greater strength through advanced engineering and high-strength steel construction. Key innovations include a fully proportional control valve that enables movement of all functions simultaneously. The crane features a redesigned rotational assembly that weighs over 100 pounds less than its predecessors and allows for continuous rotation. A relocated winch and the lowered crane height, provide customers access to more locations. Added user safety is provided by the new anti-two-block system, requiring zero adjustment and featuring modular components for easier maintenance.
