Lucas Oil Now the Official Oil of the Dallas Cowboys in Multi-year Partnership

Lucas Oil Products, a global leader and distributor of high-performance automotive additives and lubricates, announced a multi-year partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, becoming the “Official Oil” of the five-time Super Bowl winning team. As part of the partnership, Lucas Oil will put its brand and robust lineup of high-performance oils, additives, and protectants in front of more than 2.5 million annual visitors at AT&T stadium and millions of broadcast and online global fans. In addition to Dallas Cowboy home games, Lucas Oil will serve as a supporting partner for all events at AT&T stadium, which include concerts and collegiate sporting events, professional wrestling, motorsports, and more.

Katie Lucas, vice president of strategy and philanthropy, Lucas Oil, says it thrills the company to announce the partnership. The Cowboys partnership will expand Lucas Oil’s presence in the NFL along with the brand’s partnership with the Indianapolis Colts. Lucas says the Cowboys and Lucas Oil share common values: family, community, and a commitment to excellence. Those values “equate to making an impact both on and off the field,” Lucas says.

In addition to special game day activations at AT&T Stadium, Lucas Oil will be integrated into television, radio and online broadcast coverage of the team, all of Cowboy’s social media channels, and will be included in digital features appearing on the team’s website and custom mobile app.

The partnership also includes a Lucas Oil presence at The Star and Ford Center in Frisco, Texas. The Star is a 91-acre campus complete with 1-million sq ft of office space and state-of-the-art medical facilities. It also has luxury apartments, a 5-star hotel, and is home to the Dallas Cowboys’ World Headquarters. More than 1.9 million people visit The Star and Ford center annually.

Jerry Jones Jr., executive vice president of the Dallas Cowboys, says the Dallas Cowboys are also excited about the partnership. Lucas Oil shares “the same drive for excellence as the entire Dallas Cowboys organization,” he says. The partnership will bring a special experience for Cowboys’ visitors, viewers, and fans throughout the seasons to come, Jones says.

Part of the partnership, Lucas Oil will work with the Cowboys on different philanthropic projects over the next five years. Both organizations have a history of giving back to their communities and will team up for future projects and initiatives.
