Kinedyne Offers Free Cargo Securement Regulation Training Ahead of High-Visibility Roadcheck Enforcement

INTERNATIONAL CARGO SECUREMENT MONTH RESOURCES HELP PREP FOR CVSA INTERNATIONAL ROADCHECK

Kinedyne LLC offers free training resources on cargo securement regulations and procedures through the end of May. Kinedyne aims to help truck drivers prepare for the annual Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) International Roadcheck program May 17-19, 2022. Drivers who want to avoid sidelined trucks due to cargo control regulations can refresh and test their knowledge at Kinedyne’s online training portal at www.kinedyne.com/register.

The training site launched in early April as part of Kinedyne’s annual sponsorship of International Cargo Securement Awareness Month.

During CVSA’s International Roadcheck, inspectors across North America inspect commercial vehicles to ensure safety systems comply with regulations. During the 2021 International Roadcheck, CVSA reported that inspectors removed 16.5% of the more than 40,000 vehicles out of service. Cargo securement was the fifth most common violation; as a result, inspectors sidelined nearly 1,200 vehicles for failing to meet basic cargo control requirements.

Fleets and owner-operators who want to make sure they following cargo securement regulations can check out Kinedyne’s Roadcheck resource website, Be Prepared to Hit the Highway.
