IT'S ELECTRIC!

Workhorse W-15

You see the electric cars on your daily commute, and you’ve seen the all-electric delivery vans in urban areas. With all the money saved from lower fuel and maintenance costs and the environmental impact of lower emissions, it’s a wonder everyone isn’t already on the electric train.

Oh, wait.

Fleets travel a lot of miles per day, not to mention the power needed from vehicles to carry those heavy loads. With those two factors alone, going electric has never seemed like a viable option for most fleet owners.

SOME SAY IT’S MYSTIC

Workhorse Group saw the problem and galloped in to save the day. Workhorse created the W-15: an electric pickup truck. You read that right.

Powered by a Panasonic 18650 Li-Ion battery pack, the W-15 has a fuel efficiency rating of 75 MPGe in all-electric mode. And, if you’re still worried about losing battery life on those long work days, the W-15 comes equipped with an auxiliary gasoline engine that works as a Range-Extender. Should the driver need more power for that homestretch at the end of the day, the Range-Extender kicks in for more miles. Even powered by gasoline using the Range-Extender, the W-15 can go incredible distance for a pickup truck. With 28 mpg on the highway and 32 mpg in the city, fuel economy will be the least of your worries.

GOTTA FEEL IT

Let’s talk performance. Fleet vehicles need the strength to endure tough work, day in and day out. This pickup features a true all-wheel drivetrain (AWD), with front and rear motors. Finally, you can climb those unpaved, gravel hills and take your truck through less-than-ideal terrain. The W-15 has two electric engines, one on each axle, that together, generate 460 hp—that’s more than most heavy-duty engines! And, when talking about performance, we can’t forget the fact that the W-15 can go from 0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds.

Designed to look great and perform even better, the W-15’s interior is worth noting.

Sometimes the job requires power to your tools. This truck is equipped with an external 7.2 kW power outlet, providing up to 30 amps directly from the vehicle battery pack. This external power, in addition to the AWD, ensure you can accept business from anywhere and get the job done.

Pickup trucks were designed to tow, and the W-15 is no exception. With a payload capacity of 2,200 lbs and a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs, this truck can carry your whole squad and tow whatever you need to get the job done.

CAN’T DO WITHOUT IT

A top-priority for all fleet owners is safety. The Workhorse Group understands and created the W-15 accordingly. The extra-large front crumple zone on the W-15 will keep the driver safe in the event of a collision. A low center of gravity and the true AWD feature improves truck handling.

For more 21st century safety features, the W-15 is equipped with lane departure warnings and automatic braking, great for drivers whose focus shifts from the road to a GPS device while in motion.

CAN’T RESIST IT

Workhorse Group—an American Original Equipment Manufacturer—built the W-15 from the ground up. The chassis features a lightweight composite body, state-of-the-art telematics, and is designed for future autonomous driving. In addition, the W-15 comes with an extensive North American service and support network.

This pickup is designed for the highest performance, lowest cost to operate and maintain, and lowest emissions profile. With all these benefits, how can any fleet owner resist the Workhorse W-15?
