GPS Insight Named 2022 Sustainability Leadership Award Winner by Business Intelligence Group

GPS INSIGHT IS RECOGNIZED FOR ASSISTING ORGANIZATIONS IN REDUCING POLLUTION, RESOURCE DEPLETION, AND POOR TREATMENT OF WORKERS

GPS Insight announced that Business Intelligence Group named the company a 2022 Sustainability Leadership Award winner in the 2022 Sustainability Awards program. Companies bestowed with the Sustainability Leadership Award have demonstrated sustainability as a central aspect of their operations and goals.

Sustainability efforts are important for companies interested in minimizing their environmental impact. Fleet and field automation and optimization can help businesses and organizations contribute to their companies’ sustainability efforts. But, it can also provide a foundation for a substantial reduction in waste. To operate sustainably, fleet organizations must find ways to reduce overall miles driven as well as curb excessive idling. They must also digitize their workforce to reduce consumables, detect areas for improvement, and provide a pathway for EV and alternative fuel fleet vehicles.

Gary Fitzgerald, GPS Insight CEO, says the company aids fleet and field managers in lowering pollution levels through easy-to-implement practices. These practices decrease the use of fossil fuels and increase fleet efficiency, he says. He also says GPS Insight started working with partners to integrate EVs and fleet performance into its fleet management solutions.

For-profit as well as non-profit organizations of varying sizes submitted nominations for the Business Intelligence Group Sustainability Leadership Award. The nominations recognize teams and bring attention to the organization and its initiatives. They also highlight achievements of leaders in their pursuit to minimize the negative effects of their operations on the environment.

“We are proud to reward and recognize GPS Insight for their sustainability efforts,” says Maria Jimenez, chief nominations officer, Business Intelligence Group. “It was clear to our judges that their vision and strategy will continue to deliver results toward a cleaner, more sustainable world. Congratulations!”
