FORD PRO EXPANDS WARRANTY COVERAGE

During Ford Pro’s Fleet Preview event in Las Vegas, Ford Pro president Alicia Boler Davis announced that starting with the 2027 Model Year (27MY), Ford is expanding its five-year/100,000-mile (160,000 km in Canada) limited powertrain warranty to cover all Ford commercial products including. These include: 2027 Maverick, 2027 E-Transit, 2027 Ranger, 2027 Mustang (excluding GTD), 2027 Bronco (excluding Raptor), 2027 Bronco Sport, 2027 Mustang Mach-E, 2027 Explorer and 2027 Expedition.

These vehicles join those that are already covered with this level of powertrain warranty, including: 2022+ Trucks and SUVS:  F-150, Super Duty (F-250 through F-600), Transit, F-53/F-59 stripped chassis and E-Series (note E-Series 23MY+).

To qualify, commercial accounts need to register for a fleet identification number (FIN Code) and purchase the vehicles under a “fleet” sales type. This is a unique benefit, exclusive to Ford Pro FIN code customers.

The new initiative lowers TCO, extended coverage minimizes unexpected repair costs, keeping fleets running efficiently; and boosts resale value, the limited warranty stays with the vehicle, even if it is subsequently sold to a non-fleet customer before expiration.
