“The team at Ryder knows that not just any all-electric product can provide the necessary reliability, productivity, and power that W.B. Mason demands for its fleet,” says Michael Stark, EV program manager with FCCC. “They also know that W.B. Mason is forward-thinking and innovative when it comes to modernizing its fleet—and that the MT50e was the ideal addition to its customer’s electrification efforts.”

ACHIEVING GOALS

With companies such as FCCC and Ryder, customer satisfaction has always been critical. The companies continue to expand that satisfaction goal to the area of the new and universal customer requirement to electrify. Additionally, with the MT50e, FCCC has customer satisfaction and new electrification requirements at the top of mind.

“We are excited to continue our relationship with W.B. Mason for long-term environmental and cost-savings benefits with electric vehicles and maintenance, as well as related services for charging and infrastructure,” says Carlo Rodriguez, Ryder group director for advanced vehicle technology. “When companies outsource to Ryder, they get the value of our 90 years of operating and maintaining commercial vehicles, and our latest experience with electric vehicles and advanced vehicle technology fleets. This enables a partnership of learning, improving, increasing uptime, simplifying the adoption of electric vehicles, and accelerating a return on investment.”

“We are thrilled to introduce these first MT50e all-electric units into our fleet,” says Chris Meehan, Chief Operating Officer with W.B. Mason. “By combining the legendary performance of FCCC with advanced EV technology, introducing these units into our fleet will help us maintain our industry leading delivery standards and exceed customer expectations every single day.”
