THIS SOLUTION WILL SIMPLIFY THE EXPERIENCE OF MANAGING MIXED FLEETS AS CLIENTS GRADUALLY TRANSITION FROM ICE TO EV

Element Fleet Management Corp. announced a new relationship with ChargePoint and WEX. The relationship will help provide Element clients with access to ChargePoint’s growing nationwide charging network. It provides a billing system for charging and fueling across client fleets, integrated with Element’s analytics and dashboard reporting platform.

ADDRESSING NEEDS

“This relationship demonstrates Element’s ongoing leadership in fleet electrification,” says Chris Gittens, executive vice president of strategic relationships for Element. Gittens says Element understands the struggle fleet managers may face when mixing electric vehicles in fleets of internal combustion vehicles. The relationship between Element, ChargePoint, and WEX will help minimize the administrative burden on fleets and charging expenses, Gittens says.

“Today’s announcement is another step in building a comprehensive offering to address all our clients’ charging needs inclusive of home, public, and depot charging to drive even greater fleet efficiencies,” Gittens says.

“ChargePoint is making the transition to electrification seamless for fleets with take home and on-route charging solutions,” says Rich Mohr, vice president of fleet solutions at ChargePoint. “We make the charging experience simple and easy for the driver and our robust software including advanced analytics and reporting gives fleet managers the tools and visibility they need. Our partnership with Element and WEX is a major step in helping fleets prepare for the electric future.”

Finally, WEX’s technology will help enable seamless direct integration of fuel and charging data into Element’s billing system. As a result, fleet managers will have access to consolidated reporting, visibility, and financial controls. Bernie Kavanagh of WEX says that WEX understands the challenges fleets face when managing mixed fleets. He says WEX is proud to work with Element and ChargePoint to offer solutions that help fleets adopt electric vehicles.
