“We are excited to expand Custom Truck’s chassis offerings through the addition of Battle Motors,” says Fred Ross, Custom Truck CEO. “This partnership will allow us to offer electric powered options to our customers as part of our ‘one source’ offering.”

COMPANY OFFERINGS

Further, Custom Truck offers a comprehensive range of services to the heavy equipment market. The company sells as well as rents, customizes, remanufactures, and services a range of machinery and assets. The addition of Battle Motors products allows Custom Truck to offer CARB emission compliance solutions for sales and rental customers. This will better serve the refuse and municipal markets.

Additionally, Battle Motors builds upon decades of design and engineering expertise to produce heavy-duty trucks—including a fully electric chassis. Battle Motors builds every truck to excel in multiple environments and applications, including refuse, recycling, construction, utility, and delivery. Further, in the refuse and recycling space, electric trucks suit many applications including rear and automated side-loaders.

Michael Patterson, Battle Motors CEO and chairman, says it pleases the company to enter the utility space with Custom Truck One Source. Battle Motors focuses on driving technology and innovation that gives its customers confidence, value, and performance, Patterson says. “Partnering with a leading organization like Custom Truck allows us to step-up that mission,” Patterson adds.
