Advantage Truck Group Expands Haulin’ 4 Hunger Program with Non-Perishable Food Donations

With the need for food assistance straining community food pantries, Advantage Truck Group will expand its Haulin’ 4 Hunger program. The expansion will provide meals to those in need and include additional donations of non-perishable items across New England.

The Haulin’ 4 Hunger non-perishable initiative expands ATG’s partnerships with food pantry organizations. It also extends its reach and support to communities throughout the ATG dealer network to help those facing food insecurity.

For its first donation, ATG will provide a “Meal in a Box” to feed 600 families throughout New England. Employees will deliver 100 pasta boxes as well as 100 sauce jars to six community pantries near its dealer locations. These locations include: New Hampshire’s LISTEN Food Pantry in Lebanon, New Hampshire; Food Bank in Manchester and Rockingham Community Action in Seabrook; Fall Mountain Food Shelf near Westminster in Vermont; Our Community Table in Westfield; and finally to Raynham Food Basket in Raynham, Massachusetts, where ATG will open a new facility this summer.

“We are grateful for the continued support and involvement in Haulin’ 4 Hunger shown by our employees, customers, and business partners and the community of giving it has created,” says Kevin G. Holmes, president and CEO of ATG. “It is through their dedication that we are able to expand this program to help meet the year-round need and address the serious problem of food insecurity in our communities across New England.”
