Throughout 2026, the agency will fulfill 35 acts of community service, charitable giving, volunteer efforts, and local partnerships, highlighted by a major home restoration project for a family impacted by the devastating May 16th tornado.

“For 35 years, the region has trusted us to protect their families and businesses. We wanted to celebrate this milestone by getting out into the neighborhoods we serve and giving back to the people who have supported us,” says JD Powers, CEO, POWERS Insurance.

Founded in 1991, POWERS Insurance has built its reputation on challenging the status quo, creating clarity, and safeguarding our clients’ financial well-being. The agency is a leading provider for commercial insurance solutions and has been guided by five core values: diligence, innovation, connection, integrity, and humility.

Among the “35 Acts of Kindness” campaign, one of the most meaningful acts is a direct response to one of St. Louis’ most tragic tornadoes. One year after the May 16 tornado tore through the area, POWERS Insurance will help a family rebuild by repairing a destroyed roof and restoring the home’s interior.

“When a tornado takes a family’s home, the entire community feels it. Insurance is about helping people put their lives back together after the unexpected,” says Powers. “By helping restore a home, we’re putting our POWERS promise into action.”

As POWERS Insurance celebrates this 35-year milestone, the company remains focused on the future and its ongoing commitment to serve, support, and invest in the region.
