Stellantis has a robust commercial van lineup internationally, and the full-size ProMaster has been in North America for years. The smaller mid-size ProMaster City van has been on hiatus over the last little while but is now making a comeback by rejoining the Ram Professional lineup.
“When the new ProMaster City arrives at dealerships early next year, it will be the only mid-size commercial van on sale in the U.S.,” says Tim Kuniskis, head of North American brands, SRT Performance Division, retail marketing. “Despite our unique market position, Ram Professional isn’t coasting; we’re raising the competitive bar and delivering on small business expectations.”
At launch, the front-wheel drive ProMaster City will be available in Tradesman and SLT trims, and in cargo van or passenger wagon configuration with seating for five or eight. It is expected to be on sale in early 2027, with order banks opening in 2026.
