International Trucks’ New Series is Ready to Perform

ALL DAY, EVERY DAY

MV Series

The MV Series is fit to upfit, offering multiple options and configurations, specifically for your fleet.

new truck is making its way onto the International truck lot, and it’s worth noting. International listened to feedback from drivers and body companies to give the MV Series a customer-centric design that truly delivers and keeps customers’ needs a priority.

DRIVER COMFORT

It starts in the roomy cab. The truck’s controls are easy to find, reach, and operate—even with gloved fingers. And, say goodbye to blind spots. The MV Series features enhanced visibility, including door-mounted mirrors positioned to see more while turning your head less, reducing fatigue. Even the air horn lanyard is placed where drivers told International they prefer it to be.

For the driver’s convenience, the steering wheel on the MV Series adds more functions, with integrated back-lit, laser etched labeling for improved durability and visibility. The shifter is mounted on the steering column, easily reachable and providing smoother shifting and engine braking. Customers can also customize factory-installed switches that are optimally positioned to use with integrated equipment.

PRODUCTIVITY

The gauges on the MV Series were tested, refined, and retested to ensure matchless usability and positioning. The gauges are designed to deliver excellent viewing in varying light conditions, from the color, illumination, legibility, and even down to the size. Key information is where it needs to be, without distracting the driver.

The dash includes a digital screen displaying information such as axle load, safety indicators, custom gauge settings, digital speedometer, tire pressure, and additional virtual gauge options. Intuitive controls allow drivers to easily navigate between digital screens.

UPPING UPTIME

Impressive structural integrity is achieved by featuring one continuous piece of high-strength, low-alloy (HSLA) reinforced, cold-rolled steel that surrounds the entire door frame. The cab of the MV Series is painted through a process that provides resistance to fading and corrosion. The process dips the welded cab into an electrostatically applied primer.

The MV Series features standard breakaway mirrors that minimize cab and door damage in the event of an accidental clipping. No one wants to deal with the headache of loose fasteners on their chassis. The MV Series features Huck® Bolt chassis fasteners that provide clamping force without re-torqueing and won’t come loose. The three-piece hood is easy to lift and enables single-panel replacement for lower repair costs. Translucent fluid reservoirs allow for quick inspection, and tethered caps keep the worry of losing or dropping caps far from your mind.

FIT TO UPFIT

MV Series trucks offer a number of frame rail options. Fuel tanks, air tanks, exhaust systems, and battery boxes can all be mounted in various positions to better align with your application. The MV is also available with a clean Cab-to-Axle (CA) configuration to minimize post-production modifications. Custom frame piercing minimizes open holes and maximizes frame strength.

The MV Series includes International’s Diamond Logic® electrical system, which allows drivers to program automated tasks for more consistent performance, increased equipment protection, and safety. Diamond Logic technology is easy to spec, simplifies integration, and includes self-monitoring vehicle components to reduce downtime.

SAFER IS BETTER

The ability to see potential hazards increases a driver’s safety—so International decided to give its MV Series improved side windows and mirrors and better maneuverability with an inside wheel cut of up to 50 percent. The powerful HVAC has a MAX defrost and can clear 100 percent of the windshield in under 30 minutes, even when the outside temperature is 0 degrees F.

The MV Series features Bendix Wingman Advanced collision mitigation. The system integrates adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, over-speed alert, and stationary vehicle braking with the optional Bendix Wingman Fusion.

MV POWER

The Cummins L9 powers the toughest in the MV Series. The six-cylinder, diesel engine offers 260-450 hp and 720-1,000 lb-ft of torque, and its XPI Fuel System features multiple injection events per cycle for improved operation. This, combined with its proprietary Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT), gives the L9 the highest power density of any engine in its class.

Owners of an International MV Series truck will truly reap the benefits of its innovative design, all day and every day.
