ASPIRE TO GREATNESS

Mercedes-Benz is not one for cutting corners and it shows in the Sprinter Van. According to Mercedes-Benz, “The Sprinter Van is the most advanced commercial van on the road today with tons of options to custom fit to your business’ needs. Imagine a fuel-saving, 2-stage turbocharged diesel engine, Best-in-Class payload*, cargo volume, and interior standing height, available 4×4 drive train, advanced safety features, and legendary Mercedes-Benz reliability.” The new Sprinter WORKER Van offers the same exceptional payload, cargo volume, and safety features at a hard-working, affordable MSRP.

RELIABLE POWER

The Sprinter WORKER Cargo Van and Sprinter Cargo Van come standard with a 4-cylinder BlueTEC® turbocharged diesel engine* effortlessly combining the benefits of two-stage turbocharged power to offer 161 hp at 3,800 rpm and 265 lb-ft of torque at 1,400 to 2,400 rpm. With diesel fuel economy and durability in one compact package, the impressive 4-cylinder powertrain with 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission offers up to 18 percent greater fuel efficiency*, according to Mercedes-Benz.
Optional on the Sprinter Cargo Van is a 6-cylinder BlueTEC turbocharged diesel engine* offering 325 lb-ft of torque across a broad rpm range. The 6-cylinder diesel engine with 5-speed automatic transmission option delivers greater horsepower with peak torque coming in at a low rpm. The V6 engine provides ample pulling power, especially under a load.
Also optional on the Sprinter Cargo Van is a 6-cylinder 4×4 BlueTEC diesel engine with on-demand all-wheel drive technology to help maintain stability and control. The electronically controlled adaptive torque distribution to all four wheels allows you hit the road with confidence.
Both vans come standard with a 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission, refined for maximum efficiency. The quick-shifting transmission delivers lower fuel consumption, reduced noise, and longer service life.
To reach maximum fuel savings and emission reduction with the Sprinter WORKER Cargo Van and Sprinter Cargo Van, Mercedes-Benz offers BlueEFFICIENCY. BlueEFFICIENCY works with the powertrain and ancillary components to allow the 2-stage turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine to meet and exceed the most stringent emission standards.

SAFETY

There is a lot to love with the standard and optional safety features afforded by the Sprinter WORKER Cargo Van and Sprinter Cargo Van. Let’s start with the Load-Adaptive Electronic Stability Program (ESP®)*. As Mercedes-Benz describes it, “Standard on all Sprinter Van models, this innovative feature takes the vehicle load and center of gravity into account, automatically braking individual wheels and reducing engine power to stabilize the vehicle if wheelspin, understeer, or oversteer is detected.” Standard Crosswind Assist* is another safety feature both the Sprinter WORKER Cargo Van and Sprinter Cargo Van offer, continuing Mercedes-Benz’s heritage as the industry’s safety leader. When driving speeds more than 50 mph, course-correcting brake application quickly intervenes to stabilize your Sprinter Van in strong, gusting crosswinds.
The following are optional safety features:
Highbeam Assist, for both the Sprinter WORKER Cargo Van and Sprinter Cargo Van, automatically switches the highbeams on and off depending upon traffic ahead and oncoming vehicles.
Blind Spot Assist*, for both the Sprinter WORKER Cargo Van and Sprinter Cargo Van, uses radar sensors to monitor your surroundings. If the system detects another vehicle alongside, visual notifications are triggered in the side view mirrors to prevent you from potentially dangerous lane changes. An audible warning further helps to alert the driver.
Back-Up Camera*, for both the Sprinter WORKER Cargo Van and Sprinter Cargo Van, allows you to view rear obstacles and people on the standard 5.8-inch head unit, helping you safely reverse while maneuvering and parking.
PARKTRONIC, for the Sprinter Cargo Van, warns of a possible collision when maneuvering in confined spaces, providing parking assistance when you need it.
COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST*, for the Sprinter Cargo Van, enhances driving safety by helping you avoid rear-end collisions with vehicles ahead.
Lane Keeping Assist*, for the Sprinter Cargo Van, which uses a multifunction camera in the windshield to recognize unintentional drifting out of lane, sends a visible and audible signal to the driver when lane departure is detected.

THE BODY, INSIDE AND OUT

Mercedes-Benz has a tradition of producing vehicles that drivers are comfortable to be in and happy to be seen in. The Sprinter Vans are no exception. “From the detailed grille and sharp contoured headlights to the chiseled bumper, the superior craftsmanship of the Sprinter Van is visible from any angle—offering dramatic proof that this is the unmistakable face of commercial vehicles,” according to Mercedes-Benz.
The interior is made for comfort and is as efficient and ergonomic as possible. Featuring an optional multifunction steering wheel, bold gearshift lever, high-gloss panel, and convenient dashboard storage, both the Sprinter WORKER Cargo Van and Sprinter Cargo Van give you everything you need in a work van and more.
Both models include upfitter friendly features, including nearly vertical walls, tall interior standing heights, abundant space, and sophisticated programmable electronics that make it the “ultimate foundation to build your business.”
The Sprinter Cargo Van model offers optional Super High Roof, creating a towering interior standing height of 87.3 inches, increasing cargo and customization possibilities. This option is available only with high roof models. The 3500 Sprinter Cargo Van model offers a Super-Single tire option, which provides maximum payload using a single rear wheel axle, without sacrificing the cargo loading capacity lost with the larger wheel wells of dual-wheel rear axles.
Optional Becker® MAP PILOT Navigation System and Connectivity, available on the Sprinter Cargo Van, offer fully integrated navigation via a 5.8-inch color display and Bluetooth® telephone system with audio streaming, USB connection, and iPod® interface.
