That’s where the 2018 GMC Savana Cutaway 3500/4500 comes in.

CALL THE SHOTS

Whatever line of business you’re in, the Savana is your vehicle. With a ladder-type frame, the Savana comes upfit-ready for a variety of configurations across multiple platforms. The 3500 has a maximum payload of 7,248 lbs and a GVWR of up to 12,300 lbs. Available on the 3500 is a 10,000-lb GVWR for 139-inch and 159-inch wheelbase models with dual rear wheels. The Savana 3500 is equipped with a 4.3-L V6 engine offering 265 hp at 5,200 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque.

For more power, grab the wheel of a GMC Savana 4500 with a GVWR of up to 14,200 lbs and a maximum payload of 9,156 lbs. The 4500 comes complete with a Vortec® 6-L V8 engine with 341 hp at 5,400 rpm and 373 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm (option available for the 3500 with 177-inch wheelbase).

Both models feature a 150-amp alternator, three wheelbases and powertrain options, and GMC can accommodate features, specs, trims, and dimensions to fit the needs of your fleet.

Maximize driver comfort. You decide what covers your seats—vinyl or cloth. Choose from three available audio system options, including GMC Infotainment System with color touch-screen navigation, AM/FM stereo with CD player, and Bluetooth® audio streaming; hands-free smartphone integration with Pandora® Internet Radio and Stitcher® radio; voice-activated technology for radio and phone, SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, and NavTraffic—a SiriusXM service that shows color-coded traffic information such as average speed and traffic flow, accident locations, road construction, and other incidents.

BRING ‘EM HOME

For maximum safety, a Rear Vision Camera comes standard on models under 10,000 lb GVWR and is available on models over 10,000 lb GVWR. OnStar® 4G LTE with built-in Wi-Fi hotspot is available on both the 3500 and the 4500. Buyers receive OnStar Basic Plan for five years and a six-month trial of the OnStar Guidance Plan.

GMC’s StabiliTrak helps improve vehicle stability, particularly during emergency maneuvers, and comes standard on the Savana. This control module compares driver steering input with the vehicle’s response and makes small, individual brake and engine torque applications to enhance control, if necessary.

Frontal airbags are standard on the GMC Savana 3500/4500, with passenger deactivation switch and seat-mounted side-impact and head-curtain on vehicles up to 10,000 lbs. The vehicle comes equipped with a four-wheel disc anti-lock brake system, hill-start assist, and an oil life monitoring system, adding extra cushions of safety.

Don’t stress in the event of an accident. Two maintenance visits are covered by GMC Pro Grade Protection for two years or 24,000 miles.

COMMANDING FEATURES

The interior of the Savana has air conditioning (delete option on the 3500) and a standard AM/FM stereo with MP3 player, seek-and-scan, digital clock, TheftLock®, random select, auxiliary jack, and two front door speakers. Complete with power windows and door locks and a black rubberized-vinyl floor covering, this vehicle has the amenities you like to see in a fleet vehicle.

The 3500 is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission. A 6-speed automatic transmission is standard on all Savana 4500s and on 3500s with a 177-inch wheelbase. The 3500/4500 features a 33-gallon fuel tank and an available 24-gallon auxiliary tank, giving you approximately 57 gallons of fuel—perfect for those long work days. Another important aspect needed for long work days is an available isolated second battery.

The exterior of the 3500/4500 features an aluminized, stainless-steel exhaust muffler and tailpipe. The 3500 rolls on LT245/75R16E all-season tires. The 4500 has additional spot welds and structural adhesive added to its exterior, and it rolls on LT225/75R16E all-season tires. The Savana comes with available wiring provisions, ideal for jobs requiring multiple electrical accessories. Buyers can also opt for a high-idle switch.

FIT FOR A CAPTAIN

Whether the bulk of your day is spent in the cab or on the jobsite, you can be sure the 2018 Savana Cutaway can handle anything your intense work dishes out. The Savana grants you the features and power to send you to work in charge and ready to command.
